fbBreak, a collaboration between Rachel Ridings and myself, is a site that helps you take a break from Facebook. Think of it like AA for Facebook. Your pick a sponsor – a close friend you can trust. You sign up and fbBreak sends that friend an email with instructions to change your Facebook password.

You’re then locked out of Facebook for one week. During that time, you can use the site’s journal to document your experience. There’s also a Global Wall that you can choose to post your journal entries and share with the rest of the world – or keep it totally private and for your eyes only.
